Chamber sets trip to Poland

The Blair County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Ketrow Kurtz Travel, has added a trip to Poland to its travel itinerary for 2026. Pride of Poland, Oct. 13-22, will immerse travelers in Poland’s diverse history. Tour highlights include stops in Gdansk, Gdynia, Malbork, Warsaw, Krakow and Kazimierz/Auschwitz.

CareerLink sets resource fair

PA CareerLink Blair County will offer a community resource fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Altoona Area Public Library.

At the fair, people can connect with housing assistance, utility support, family services, mental health resources, veteran services, re-entry services and more. There is no cost to attend.
