Breakfast to focus on PSU
The Blair County Chamber Breakfast Club will meet at 7:45 a.m. Aug. 14 and will focus on the upcoming Penn State football season.
Providing the inside scoop on the Nittany Lions upcoming season, as well as some amusing gridiron insight, will be Neil Rudel, one of the “Nit Wits” on the TV show Nittany Nation Overtime, who will be joined by author and host of Sports Central, Cory Giger, and Steve Jones, the play-by-play voice of Penn State athletics.
Attendees are encouraged to wear white and make it a Blair County White-Out.

Chamber sets western trip
The Blair County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Epic Journeys LLC, has added a new destination to its travel itinerary for 2026.
America’s Cowboy Country, Sept. 8-15, 2026, will explore the frontier that shaped our country. Travelers will begin their adventure when they arrive in Rapid City, South Dakota, with a visit to Badlands National Park, Custer State Park, the Crazy Horse Memorial and Mount Rushmore. The trip also includes stops at Yellowstone National Park, the Bighorn Mountains, Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons.
An informational meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Aug. 18 at the Devorris Center for Business Development, 3900 Industrial Park Drive. There is no obligation or cost to attend.
