New hires and promotions

Loren Hecht has been promoted to tax supervisor at Wessel & Company, Johnstown. Hecht is a graduate of Juniata College with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and has experience in accounting services, tax return preparation and tax consulting services.

Brennan Illig has been promoted to senior auditor at Wessel & Company, Johnstown. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a Bachelor of Science degree in financial accounting. He is also a graduate from Duquesne University with a master’s degree in accounting. Brennan began his professional career with Wessel & Company and initially focused on government and nonprofit audit clients. He has expanded in providing audit services for manufacturing entities and 401(k) plans as well.

Matthew Fox has been promoted to audit associate III at Wessel & Company, Johnstown.

He is a graduate of Grove City College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and finance and works on Wessel’s construction, manufacturing and not-for-profit audit clients.

Matthew Kenner has been promoted to audit associate II at Wessel & Company, Johnstown.

He is a graduate of Saint Francis University with Bachelor of Science degrees in management and accounting and is a member of Wessel’s audit department and works on not-for-profit and for-profit audits.

Renee Angle has been promoted to audit associate II at Wessel & Company, Johnstown.

She is a graduate of Saint Francis University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business management, as well as a Master of Business Administration. She works on many different types of audits, including local government, not-for-profit of varying sizes, manufacturing and pension plans.

Haylee Oates has been promoted to audit associate II at Wessel & Company, Johnstown. She is a graduate of Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and is a member of Wessel’s audit department and works on not-for-profit and government audits.
