Deadline to submit is 4 p.m. Feb. 13

WISE Women of Blair County Tribute recognizes and honors Blair County women who have demonstrated excellence and leadership in promoting the awareness of the significant role of women in the quality of life in the community and its economic growth.

WISE Women is seeking nominations from the public for the Lifetime Achievement honor.

It is looking for a woman who demonstrates during her lifetime our mission “to empower women and encourage acceptance and inclusion of all through collaboration, service and education.”

The selection of the Lifetime Achievement honoree will be chosen by the WISE Women Board of Directors.

WISE Women also is accepting nominations for outstanding Blair County women in the categories of: Arts & Letters, Business & Professional, Community Service Volunteer, Education, Non-Profit/Government and Rising Star (a woman under the age of 25).

The annual Tribute dinner will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, at The Casino at Lakemont Park.

Anyone — an individual, organization or a business — may submit nominations to WISE Women, P.O. Box 134, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648, or by the preferred method of electronic submission to tribute@wisewomenofblaircounty.org.
