Sheetz, Fortnite pair up
Sheetz has announced its new footprint within Fortnite, a major cultural phenomenon and one of the most-played video games in the country.
As part of this collaboration, the brand is debuting “Sheetz Run: Only Up!,” a custom Sheetz map where Fortnite players worldwide can join in on the fun and take their characters on an action-packed “Sheetz Run.” Sheetz is one of the first convenience stores to have an exclusive map featured in this game. The gaming studio that connects brands to creators within Fortnite, Umi Games, was instrumental in facilitating the inclusion. Available now, the Sheetz Fortnite immersive experience offers players the chance to navigate a massive, twisted gauntlet filled with their favorite Sheetz menu items. Starting in a Sheetz parking lot, players step into a Sheetz store — only to be launched into a surreal world crafted entirely from Sheetz products. From there, they’ll jump over Made-to-Order sandwiches, climb mountains of crispy curly fries, take a dip in irresistible Boom Boom sauce and swim through giant soda straws, all while racing toward victory in this wild, imaginative adventure.
Fortnite is available on a variety of platforms, including PC, consoles like PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, as well as mobile devices. To access “Sheetz Run: Only Up!,” launch Fortnite, click the “Search” icon, and enter 1426-4763-1925.
To celebrate the launch of the game, Sheetz is kicking off a month-long “Sheetz Run: Only Up!” challenge with a $25,000 prize pool at stake. From Jan. 24 to Feb. 23, Fortnite players can record their quickest runs and submit them to the UMI Games Discord server. The players with the 25 fastest “Sheetz Runs” by the end of the challenge will split a prize pool of $25,000. Leaderboards will be updated weekly. First place prize is $10,000; second place, $5,000; third, $3,000; fourth, $2,000; fifth, $1,000; sixth-10th, $500 each; 11th-25th, $100 Fortnite V-Bucks Card.
