The EADS Group has again been recognized by Engineering News-Record as one of the Top 500 Design Firms. The Top 500 Design Firm list is published annually in April and is based on revenue from the previous year.
EADS has consistently ranked in the top 500 since 1987.
The EADS Group Inc. is an employee-owned, multi-disciplined engineering, architectural and design firm headquartered in Altoona.

ABI sets networking event
Alleghenies Broadband Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation working to improve internet connectivity in the Southern Alleghenies Region, will host a networking event "Making Connections" from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 18, at the U.S. Hotel Tavern's Liberty Hall, 401 S. Juniata St., Hollidaysburg.
The event will include a presentation about ABI, its mission to improve internet connectivity and future efforts to bring broadband internet to the underserved, followed by a reception. Guests include county commissioners, municipalities, school districts, internet service providers and more.
