Lemme Audiology hosting tinnitus seminar

Lemme Audiology Associates will present an educational seminar about tinnitus from 2 to 3 p.m. May 16 at the Ebensburg location and from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. May 17 at the Altoona location.

Guest speaker Dr. David Alexander will present, "Discover Your Zen Again," and discuss methods of better coping with tinnitus, a ringing, buzzing or humming noise in your ears. Space is limited for the seminar. For reservations call 814-742-4070.

First National Bank honored with Top Workplace award

First National Bank, the banking subsidiary of F.N.B. Corp., was recently selected by Energage as a Top Workplaces National Culture Excellence awards winner and a Top Workplace in South Carolina.

Additionally, Newsweek named the company one of America's Greatest Workplaces for LGBTQ+.

Overall, FNB has been recognized more than 50 total times for its workplace experience.

Sinclair reports earnings of $2.64 per share in Q1

Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc., parent company of WJAC, on Wednesday reported net income of $185 million in its first quarter.

The Hunt Valley, Maryland-based company said it had net income of $2.64 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $2.71 per share.

The television broadcasting company posted revenue of $773 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in June, Sinclair said it expects revenue in the range of $757 million to $773 million.
