Safety conference set
JARI will host the 18th Annual Alleghenies Regional Safety Conference from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Conference Center at Pitt-Johnstown, 450 Schoolhouse Road, Johnstown.
The event will feature educational workshops on a variety of health and safety issues and will spotlight vendors' products and services.
The keynote speaker will be Cambria County District Attorney Greg Neugebauer, who will discuss being prepared for crime in the workplace and tools for helping law enforcement.
The conference registration fee is $80 per person or $60 per person if a company registers four or more employees. This fee includes workshops, breakfast and lunch.

Curry Supply to share practices
Curry Supply of Altoona will attend the NACD Procurement & Fleet Group conference in Indianapolis, Ind., where the company will share best practices and network with fellow dealers and partners.
"We are looking forward to our time at NACDPFG. We get to discuss current obstacles and struggles in the market, allowing Curry Supply and myself to help with our special equipment, sales and services," Regional Sales Manager Tanner Denny said in a statement.
