New hires and promotions
Christine Inmon of Altoona has accepted the managing partner position at Outback Steakhouse in North Myrtle Beach. S.C.
Inmon, who started her Outback career in Murrells Inlet, S.C., has been with the company for 23.5 years and has been the managing partner in Altoona, since February 2007.
She is the daughter of Dan and Kathy Slep of Altoona.
Wessel & Company, Johnstown, has announced several new hires:
Maxwell A. Kirsch as a staff accountant in the audit department. Kirsch graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and with an MBA in accounting from Saint. Francis University.
Andrew R. Konieczny as a staff accountant in the tax department. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and an MBA with human resources focus from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Krista L. Bassett as a receptionist in the administrative department. She has an associate degree in specialized business in accounting from Cambria-Rowe Business College.
Sarah Roney was hired as a social media coordinator/administrative assistant at the State College branch of Swift Kennedy & Associates, an insurance brokerage firm specializing in group employee benefits and senior insurance plans.
Roney previously worked as an IT summer associate at Northwest Savings Bank and as an assistant at Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry.
Dr. Jeffrey L. Dakas joined Conemaugh Physician Group-Cardiology. A board-certified cardiologist, Dakas specializes in general cardiology and echocardiography. He will provide outpatient care in Johnstown and Indiana and throughout Conemaugh Health System.
Dr. Gregory M. Kanski, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, joined the Conemaugh Health System team. Kanski, who specializes in arthroscopy, treatment of tendon and ligament injuries, shoulder replacements and fracture care, has joined University Orthopedics and will be performing orthopedic surgery at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Conemaugh East Hills Outpatient Center, and Conemaugh Nason Medical Center.
John Drzewiecki was promoted by Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center to nurse manager overseeing the hospital’s Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology laboratories. Drzewiecki will coordinate operations of the labs including care of high-risk coronary interventional patients, as well as elective and emergency procedures. He will also oversee the care of patients having left atrial appendage closure procedures.
