New hires and promotions

Beth Ann Eicher of Nanty Glo has been appointed by 1st Summit Bank to vice president and senior regional business relationship manager serving Cambria County and surrounding areas.

Eicher, who has more than 23 years of banking experience, will be responsible for facilitating and developing strong banking business relationships with customers.

Michelle Leyo has been hired by Curry Supply as a marketing manager.

Leyo, a graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and international business, will be corresponding directly with the marketing and sales teams on various projects to meet business objectives and instill the company’s core values.

Beth Freedline has been appointed as executive assistant to the president of Pennsylvania Highlands Community College. Freedline will assist the president, the executive director of institutional advancement and the Pennsylvania Highlands Community College Foundation Board of Directors. She will also serve as a leader of the college on the President’s Cabinet.

Awards and honors

Alison Caddy of Martinsburg, a respiratory therapist at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring, has been named to Pennsylvania Business Central’s Signature Leaders Under 30 List.

Caddy, 25, has been employed by Conemaugh Health System for almost five years, spending the majority of her tenure at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center. A registered respiratory therapist, Caddy was recently promoted to the role of cardiac rehab and cardiovascular manager.

Nicolene “Nikki” M. Kushner, Conemaugh Physician Group President, was honored at the YMCA Greater Johnstown’s 2020/2021 Tribute to Women Awards. The ceremony recognizes the contributions of women who serve as role models for other women and young girls in the community. Kushner has dedicated over 25 years of her career to improving health care in the region. Under her leadership, Conemaugh Physician Group has secured a deep roster of highly skilled physicians and advanced practitioners to provide quality care.
