Phil Freeman, executive vice president and chief operating officer, has been promoted by Reliance Bank to president and CEO. He succeeds Dennis Doll in the position.

Freeman joined Reliance Bank in 2018 after having spent more than 30 years in executive leadership positions at Sheetz Inc., Link Computer Corp. and The Home Nursing Agency.

Awards and honors

Angela R. Godin, Michael Cashaw and Dr. Genevieve Everett-Sigwalt have been elected to the board of trustees for Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Conemaugh Meyersdale Medical Center and Conemaugh Miners Medical Center for the 2021-2023 term.

Godin serves as the executive director of the Community Arts Center of Cambria County, Cashaw is a photographer and owner of cashawwPhotography and Everett-Sigwalt has served as a cardiologist in the Conemaugh Health System since 2012.


Dennis “Denny” Doll, president and CEO of Reliance Bank, has retired.

Joining in 1995, Doll was instrumental in establishing Reliance Bank’s presence in State College. In just three years, the growth necessitated the establishment of a dedicated State College branch.

From there, it wasn’t long before he earned his way up through the ranks, eventually becoming president in 2013 and CEO in 2015.
