What products or services does your company provide?

Whole body cryotherapy is a natural and innovative approach to recovery, wellness and pain management. By using nitrogen gas, we create an extremely cold environment — -100 to -230 degrees Fahrenheit — for three-minute sessions to help reduce pain and inflammation throughout the body. This technology helps enhance blood and lymphatic circulation to decrease inflammation by clearing toxins and metabolic waste with a supply of oxygen and nutrient-enriched blood, which stimulates cellular regeneration. This extreme ly cold environment also activates a central nervous system response by releasing endorphins which are the body’s natural pain inhibitors and mood elevators.

Who are your customers?

High school and collegiate athletes, triathletes and marathon runners, exercise enthusiasts and individuals with chronic aches and pains — including those who are already receiving PT or OT treatment.

What is your business day like?

We typically run sessions in the morning from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. by appointment, in conjunction with our physical therapy schedule, but, we are flexible in scheduling for individuals who need different appointment times. We also run Saturday morning sessions in the fall predominately for high school football players looking for recovery after their Friday night games.

What is the best business advice you have received?

You get out of a business, or anything for that matter, what you put into it. Treat everyone the same way you would want to be treated. Be fair, honest and compassionate.

What is the most important thing you’ve learned on the job?

Building relationships is the best way to help grow your business.

What does the future hold?

We look to continue to get the word out in the community, and to area schools, about the service we offer here in order to help us grow and expand our outreach. We are the only facility in this area to offer this service and believe this service can be a great asset to our local athletes and individuals looking to enhance their overall health and wellness.

What have you read lately that has influenced your business life?

Whole body cryotherapy is a service that has become popular in the athletic community and larger market cities to help promote faster recovery, which is ultimately what led us to start this business. This service is not a cure for certain conditions, but can significantly improve recovery time for athletes and help people manage their chronic aches and pains as well as promote overall health and wellness.
