What products or services does your company provide?

We are a natural health retail and wellness studio connecting the community with products and services that make people feel good and elevate health and overall well-being. We sell bulk food, supplements, teas, frozen food, grocery, natural health and beauty products. Services include: an infrared sauna, salt therapy and red light therapy.

Who are your customers?

Individuals, regardless of age, who wish to lead a wellness-oriented lifestyle and care most about issues of nutrition, fitness, work-related stress and the environment is the best description of our “health conscious consumer.”

What is your business day like?

My business day is spent with customers and clients, guiding them on their health journey.

What is the best business advice you have received?

To stay successful, you have to stay hungry. You have to be willing to give 100 percent with zero expectation of receiving anything in return.

What is the most important thing you’ve learned on the job?

Those things that matter the least should not get in the way of those things that matter the most.

What does the future hold?

My future is my creation, which I set goals and achieve. I am currently working on franchising my PurifyU business. I currently have two locations — one in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and most recently a location within Everything Natural Under the Sun.

What have you read lately that has influenced your business life?

“The Ideal Team Player: How to Recognize and Cultivate The Three Essential Virtues,” a book by Patrick Lencioni.
