Blair County Chamber sets Business Before Hours
The Blair County Chamber of Commerce Business Before Hours will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Aug. 17 at the new location of JJAN Financial Group, 3101 Beale Ave., Suite 101, Altoona.
During a ribbon-cutting, JJAN Financial Group will present checks to Family Services Inc. and to Shriners Hospital.

Blair County Chamber planning trip to South Africa
The Blair County Chamber of Commerce is planing a trip to South Africa from Sept. 13-24, 2019. Highlights of the trip include four game drives, stays in Victoria Falls, Johannesburg and Cape Town, 18 meals and round-trip airfare. Travel arrangements are through Heritage Travel.
An informational meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Aug. 21 at the Devorris Center for Business Development, 3900 Industrial Park Drive. Travel information will be presented as well as a question and answer session. There is no cost or obligation to attend the informational meeting. Call the chamber at 943-8151 for more information.
