Work on the new 72-room Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham is underway at 1601 Valley View Blvd. The new hotel will feature Microtel’s newest design.
Owned and developed by Jaggard Street Realty LLC of Altoona, the hotel is expected to open in the spring and will be managed by Sky Hospitality LLC. Granger Construction is the general building contractor.

The Altoona Microtel will be a four-story interior corridor hotel offering single, double and suite accommodations along with an indoor pool, fitness center, business center, Micromart, meeting space and multiple guest laundry facilities. Free amenities will include the Sky Hospitality Hot & Hearty breakfast, fresh-baked cookies daily, high speed Wi-Fi and phone calls within the continental U.S.
All guest rooms at the hotel will feature flat-panel, high-definition televisions with complimentary HBO; coffee makers, refrigerators and microwaves, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards and functional workstations with desktop accessible power and data ports.
