Dr. Nicole Kaczor, Curtis McPherson
Dr. Nicole Elizabeth Kaczor and Curtis Paul McPherson were united in marriage at 1 p.m. June 29 at the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Loretto.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Joseph and Dianne Kaczor of Hollidaysburg.
The bridegroom is the son of Beverly McPherson.
The Very Rev. Father John Byrnes performed the double-ring ceremony.
Kim Olsavick was the soloist, Sandy Harteis was the organist and Larry Detwiler was the trumpeter.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Lauren Kaczor, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Elaine Ward, cousin of the bride; Kelli Zortman; and Catie Burlison.
Autumn Roeting, niece of the groom, was junior bridesmaid.
Rylee Unnone, grandniece of the groom, was flower girl.
Chris Gingrich served as best man.
Ushers were Michael Unnone, nephew of the groom; and Jason Kaczor and Stephen Kaczor, brothers of the bride.
Logan Roeting, nephew of the groom, was junior groomsman.
The reception was held at Altoona Heritage Discovery Center.
The rehearsal dinner was held at The Casino at Lakemont Park, Altoona.
The couple took a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii.
They live in York.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School; a 2005 graduate of Millersville University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in marine biology; and a 2009 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, New York City, with a doctorate in veterinary medicine.
She is a veterinarian in York.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of East Pennsboro High School and a 2012 graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College, with an associate degree in psychology. He is a full-time student at Penn State University in computer security and risk analysis with the information and cyber security option.
He is operations manager at a large retail store in Mechanicsburg.
