Woman vows to match funds received through Dec. 31 Betty Long, MHA, RN, founder, president and CEO of Guardian Nurses Healthcare Advocates and outgoing president of the board of trustees for the Nightingale Awards of Pennsylvania, has made a personal gift of $25,000 to strengthen the organization’s longstanding scholarship fund. Shenandoah inducts members into ODK WINCHESTER, Va. –– Madison Cavalet of Lilly was one of 27 new inductees welcomed into the Shenandoah University circle of Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership honor society, on Sunday, Dec. 7. ODK recognizes sophomores, juniors, seniors, graduate students and alumni who excel in leadership and academics. To become a member, students can self-nominate or be nominated by a faculty member, staff member or current ODK member. Nominees are then selected for induction through an application process.
