Cambria Heights FCCLA wins nationals

PATTON — Four members of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Chapter at Cambria Heights, competed at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference held in Orlando, Florida, July 5-9.
The conference welcomed thousands of students from across the nation for a week of competition, leadership development and career exploration.
The conference brought together leaders from across the country to compete in Students Taking Action with Recognition (STAR) Events.
All four Cambria Heights students achieved a gold medal and placed in the top 10 nationally.
Nathan Mislevy placed third in the nation in Professional Presentation Level 1.
Emma Lewis placed fourth in the nation in Sports Nutrition Level 2.
Ellie Kerfonta placed fifth in the nation in Chapter Service Project Display Level 2.
Grace Hock placed sixth in the nation in Career Investigation Level 2.
The conference provided these Cambria Heights students with a dynamic experience that strengthened leadership skills, built career readiness and encouraged meaningful connections with peers nationwide.
Through competitive events, workshops and networking opportunities, they gained valuable insight into future career paths and the power of youth-led impact.
Nathan, Emma, Ellie and Grace look forward to applying these experiences to future leadership roles, continued involvement in FCCLA and creating positive change in their school and community.
