ORBISONIA — The Southern Huntingdon County Education Foundation announced its scholarship recipients for 2025.
Four scholarships are being awarded this year thanks to our donors who designate their contributions to assist students of Southern Huntingdon County High School with their higher education.
The Clippinger Family Scholarship of $500 is being given to Tobias Spotts.
Elayna Thomas has been chosen to receive the Southern Huntingdon County Class of 1968 award of $500.
Two recipients will each be awarded $375 from the Brewster and Wald Scholarship fund. They are Emmalynn Wingert and Alayna Thomas.
Tax-deductible donations to the scholarship fund can be mailed to P. O. Box 87, Orbisonia, Pa 17243. Informational brochures are also available.
Engraved memorial bricks are available for a donation of $75. These bricks will become the new walkway to the Coulter One-Room School Museum now located at the East Broad Top Railroad. The bricks and wooden ornaments will be available at EBT’s Fourth of July event.
