Six members of Central High School Business Club, advised by Kassi Leidy, attended Accounting Career Day at Penn State University Park on Oct. 17 sponsored by the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The goal of the day was to introduce students to all the diverse and rewarding opportunities within the field of accounting. Students heard from practicing certified public accountants (CPAs) about the various career pathways within accounting, and they also had the chance to ask questions of current accounting majors that shared their journey through college and key insights for applying to college.
