McDonald's awards scholarship
ROARING SPRING -- Deerin Davis, an employee at McDonald's of Roaring Spring, 908 E. Main St., recently received a $2,500 McDonald's Scholarship Award.
A Penn State Altoona student majoring in accounting, Davis was selected for the scholarship based on her academic success, community involvement and job performance.
Davis joined the McDonald's restaurant team in 2020 and currently serves as a crew trainer.
"Deerin exemplifies the qualities of a true leader," said McDonald's Director of Operations Jim Roman. "She has done an outstanding job both in the restaurant and in school, using lessons from both to reach her goals."
