Emerson student participates in consortium

BOSTON -- Boston's Visual Culture Consortium hosted the 13th annual Undergrad Art History Symposium in April 2021.

It featured a paper written and presented by Emerson College student Sarah Callan of Altoona.

Callan participated in the panel Moving Beyond in Contemporary Art, and presented their academic essay titled "When Attitudes Become Form and Harald Szeemann's Curatorial Process."

Callan is pursuing a degree in creative writing and is a member of the Emerson College Class of 2021.

Student inducted into business honor society

BEREA, Ohio -- Ashley Struble of Clearfield was among more than 50 students inducted into the Baldwin Wallace University Business Honor Society in the spring 2021 semester.

Society membership is extended to undergraduate business majors who have completed 90 hours of coursework and achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.85 or better; undergraduate alumni with a cumulative GPA of 3.85 or better; MBA students who have completed 30 hours of coursework and achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or better; and MBA alumni with a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or better.

Student named to IHSA Hunt Seat Team

FINDLAY, Ohio -- Alexandra

Schultz of Clearfield has been named to the University of Findlay's Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Hunt Seat Team for 2021-22.

The team has become one of the

top equestrian teams in the country.

Riders are judged on hunt seat

equitation over fences and/or on the flat.

As a member of Findlay's IHSA team, students learn teamwork, time management and how to be successful riders who produce winning rides.
