Dr. Loren Juliette Tyson Pease and Michael John Pennington of Pittsburgh are engaged to be married.
Dr. Pease is the daughter of Gail L. Tyson and the late Joseph M. Pease of Harrisburg.
Dr. Pease is a 2009 graduate of Susquehanna Township High School, Harrisburg; a 2013 graduate of Dickinson College, Carlisle, with a bachelor of arts in psychology; a 2015 graduate of Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia, with a master of science in clinical psychology; and a 2019 graduate of Chestnut Hill College, with a doctor of psychology degree.
Dr. Pease is a pediatric neuropsychologist at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and an assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Mr. Pennington is the son of Robert F. and Janet K. Pennington of Altoona.
He is a 2003 graduate of Altoona Area High School; a 2007 graduate of Dickinson College, Carlisle, with a bachelor of arts in policy management and political science; a 2009 graduate of Saint Francis University, Loretto, with a master of human resource management; and a 2010 graduate of Saint Francis University, Loretto, with a master of education (leadership).
Mr. Pennington is a doctoral candidate at Widener University, Chester, where he is slated to graduate in 2023 with a doctor of education degree in higher education leadership.
Their wedding will take place later this year at Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church in Harrisburg.
