Dr. Keith and Renee Parowski announced the engagement of their daughter, Katerina Parowski, to Dr. Christopher Fischer, son of David and Linda Fischer.

Ms. Parowski is a 2015 graduate of Altoona High School and a 2019 graduate of Kutztown University with a degree in public administration and minors in political science and history.

She completed her master’s degree in public administration with a graduate certificate in health care management from West Chester University in 2021.

She is currently employed as the coordinator of student entrepreneurship programs at Penn State Altoona.

Dr. Fischer is a 2010 graduate of Altoona Area High School and received his doctorate in physical therapy from Saint Francis University, Loretto, in 2017.

He is currently working for Advantage Home Health as a physical therapist.

A wedding is planned for Sept. 24, 2022, in Altoona.
