Miss Schmidt is the daughter of Timothy and Sharon Schmidt of Tyrone.
She is a 2009 graduate of Tyrone Area High School and a 2012 graduate of the practical nursing program at the Greater Altoona Career & Technology Center.
She is a licensed practical nurse working for the Altoona Area School District.
Mr. Lloyd is the son of John and Michele Lloyd of Duncansville.
He is a 2002 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School, a 2006 graduate of Slippery Rock University and obtained a master's degree in education from Saint Francis University, Loretto.
He is a special education teacher at Altoona Area Junior High School.
Their May 23 wedding is set to be held at Springfield Estates in Williamsburg.
