Miss Haines is the daughter of Ron and Donna Haines of Duncansville.
She is a 2007 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg, and a 2011 graduate of Mount Aloysius College, Cresson, with an associate's degree in nursing.
She is a registered nurse at Homewood at Martinsburg.
Mr. Sweitzer is the son of Bob and Vicki Sweitzer of Altoona and Brian and Tammy Gondek of Coalport.
He is a 2006 graduate of Glendale High School, Flinton.
He is employed at Norfolk Southern, Altoona.
A Sept. 23 wedding is being planned in Hollidaysburg.
