WISE Women welcomes two board members

WISE Women of Blair County announced two new members to its board of directors: Courtney Hornung and Morgan Williams. Hornung, senior program manager for Blair Image Elements, manages complex projects nationwide. She recently completed a year with Leadership Blair County and she is a volunteer twirling coach for the Gold Twirl Team. She enjoys “working with others to capture their vision and turn it into a reality.” She is also a member of the International Sign Association at a national level. Hornung is the mother of two sons. St. Jude Triduum mass scheduled

St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 416 Sixth Ave., Altoona, will hold its annual St. Jude Triduum with Mass at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, the first day of the Triduum. The second day of the Triduum will be Monday, Oct. 27, with Mass at 5:30 p.m., and the third day of the Triduum will be Tuesday, Oct. 28, with Mass at 5:30 p.m. Father Nelson Javier, T.O.R., will be celebrant and homilist at the masses.
