SAMA hosts dueling pianos fundraiser in November

1 min read

The Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art will host "Stars, Stripes & Art: Dueling Pianos 2026," a fundraiser celebrating America's 250th anniversary, from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Scotch Valley Country Club.

The event will feature music, dancing, visual art and a patriotic theme inspired by United Service Organizations shows that entertained service members during wartime.

The Flying Ivories will perform an interactive, all-request dueling pianos show featuring Big Band favorites and popular songs from several generations. A dance floor also will be available.

The event will include an American-inspired menu and red, white and blue decorations. Guests are encouraged to dress in Americana-inspired attire.

Memorial tributes to veterans and others who have served will be included in the event program. Special discounts will be available for veterans and active-duty military.

Tickets are $150 per person. For tickets, sponsorship information or additional details, contact the SAMA Altoona Museum at 814-946-4464 or visit sama-art.org/dueling-pianos.
