WISE Women of Blair County, through the Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation, has established a funding opportunity for local nonprofit organizations to support efforts that advance its mission of empowering women and encouraging acceptance and inclusion through collaboration, service and education.
Funding opportunities could include workshops, educational events, training sessions and direct service projects targeted toward empowering women and encouraging acceptance of all.
WISE Women anticipates awarding three to five projects that serve Blair County residents this award cycle.
All grant funds must be expended between Jan. 1, 2027, and Dec. 31, 2027.
Eligible applicants are tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or public charity with a 50 percent deductibility limitation (See IRS.gov).
Grant applications are due by 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23.
All organizations submitting a grant application will be notified of their status by early December.
Grantee performance reports are due 45 days after the event or no later than Jan. 15, 2028, if it is a yearlong event.
