On Aug. 26, Improved Dwellings for Altoona Inc. conducted its 58th annual meeting at Blair County Convention Center. Pennsylvania State Rep. Andrea Verobish (left) installed the following officers for the 2026-28 term (from left): President Jane L. Gable, First Vice President William E. Ritenour, Second Vice President Lee Oswalt, Secretary Rev. Douglas R. McGaffin, Immediate Past President Joseph G. Keller, Assistant Treasurer Kathryn A. Rutter and Treasurer James F. Kuhn. Assistant Secretary John A. Palko was not present. IDA continues to provide safe, decent and affordable housing to more than 1,400 residents in more than 1,000 units in four counties.
