Roaring Spring Library sets September activities

The Roaring Spring Community Library has announced its September activities.

The library will be closed Sept. 4, 5, 6 and 7 in observance of Labor Day.

Library hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Thursday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The library is closed on Fridays. For more information, call 814-224-2994 or email info@roaringspringlibrary.org.

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1 -- Pop Up Advocacy with Family & Victim Services of Blair County.

11 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Sept. 2 -- Good Reads with Gretchen.

11 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Sept. 2 -- Tech Help with Tom.

10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 -- Snuggles & Paws for Reading: Kids read to therapy dogs.

10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 -- The Story Exchange:- A creative community for writers.

11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 -- Scholar's Steep with Anna: This month's feature is Gunpowder Tea.

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22 -- Blood pressure screenings with Conemaugh Nason Medical Center.

10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 -- Homecoming Updos with Connie. Preregistration is required.

5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28 -- Mending with Miss Pauline. Preregistration is preferred.
