Bedford hosts America250 parade

Bedford County will celebrate America250 with a parade at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2. The parade will include local marching bands, musical groups, dance companies, antique vehicles, floats and more, all with an emphasis on Bedford County, Pennsylvania and American history.

The parade will form at the Bedford County Fairgrounds,

729 W. Pitt St., Bedford, and proceed to downtown Bedford via Route 30 (Pitt Street), to Juliana Street. The parade will end at the National Museum of the American Coverlet on South Juliana Street.

Ebensburg hosts Rumble Through the Valley

The 2026 Rumble Through the Valley will be held at the American Legion Fairgrounds in Ebensburg Friday and Saturday, July 31-Aug. 1. The change in venue this year provides a larger area for the event activities and entertainment.

This year's all ages festival includes live bands each day beginning at noon on two stages, food and business vendors and a kids area. Friday features the High Octane motorcycle, ATV, & Side By Side drag races. A bike run and classic car cruise will be held Saturday. The headlining band on Saturday is Hells Bells, an AC/DC tribute band.

Admission is $10 per person per day and ages 8 and under are admitted free of charge. New this year is camping on site with hookups for a fee.

Parking is free at the fairgrounds.
