Recently, the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home held a combined Flag Day/US Army’s Birthday/Women Veterans Day celebration for residents and family. Entertainment was provided by the Lindy Sisters from California who sing 40’s and 50’s music in the style of the Andrew and McGuire Sisters. Pictured is Army Veteran Bill Rupp who enjoyed the concert. Bill is 89 years old, and his Army service spans more than 43 years.
