The annual MainStreet Dance Company Showcase was held on Feb. 21 at the Bellwood-Antis High School auditorium.

The event raised $1,998.77 to help with medical expenses for 27-year-old Mikayla Yanchik of Bellwood, who has faced complex, life-threatening medical conditions for half her life.

Yanchik not only spoke with the audience, but also spent time with the team sharing her story.

The MainStreet Dance Company is part of Andrea’s School of Dance in Bellwood.
