The Tyrone Area FFA Chapter will hold its 88th annual Recognition and Awards Night on Thursday, April 9, at the Tyrone Area High School auditorium.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the chapter’s first “Ag-tastic Student Showcase,” where guests can explore interactive displays highlighting student projects, leadership activities and Supervised Agricultural Experience programs.

The formal awards program will begin at 7 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.

The evening will recognize the accomplishments of 56 in-school FFA members who have participated in conferences, competitions and community service projects that build leadership and career-readiness skills.

The chapter will also honor 10 out-of-school members who continue their SAE programs,

mentor younger students and work toward earning their American FFA Degrees.
