The Center for Population Health and the United Way of the Southern Alleghenies will host a community Baby Shower from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 24, at the Greater Johnstown Community YMCA, 100 Haynes St., Johnstown.

The event is geared toward pregnant people and parents with children up to 12 months old.

“Community baby showers are a great way to share essential maternal and baby resource information to expecting parents and provide a supportive community for individuals who may not necessarily have one,” said CPH Executive Director Jeannine McMillan.

There will be giveaways, door prizes and a variety of resource information.

Registration is not required. The event is free to attend.
