Lydell Mitchell, former outstanding running back at Penn State and a retired NFL football player, will be the special guest speaker at United We Can’s inspirational luncheon at noon Thursday, April 9, at the Blair County Convention Center, Altoona.

“We are thrilled to have Lydell join us to close out the eighth season of the luncheons,” Sue Griep, founder of the series, said recently. “Lydell had such a distinguished athletic career and then went on to lead some amazing businesses. His life journey is something we wanted him to share with our audience.”
