AUCP taking applications for Be The Future Scholarships
JOHNSTOWN — Alleghenies United Cerebral Palsy announced the ongoing availability of the Be The Future Scholarship Fund, an initiative designed to support Pennsylvania high school seniors who are dedicated to pursuing college studies that improve the lives of individuals with physical disabilities.
Now accepting applications for seniors graduating the 2026 academic year, this scholarship program reflects AUCP’s mission to cultivate future leaders in disability support, healthcare and community service.
Since its inception, the Be The Future Scholarship Fund has awarded scholarships to deserving students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership and a passion for serving others.
Scholarship details
Awards: Two scholarships of $1,000 each will be granted for the upcoming academic year.
Eligibility: Open to Pennsylvania graduating high school seniors pursuing a college degree that supports individuals with physical disabilities or contributes to community health and well‒being.
Application deadline: Applications must be submitted by March 31.
Application requirements: Applicants must complete the official scholarship application and submit supporting materials, including academic transcripts and a personal essay.
The scholarship not only provides financial assistance but also publicly recognizes students who exemplify compassion, resilience and leadership — qualities essential to creating a more inclusive and supportive world for individuals with disabilities.
