HAWC Shamrock and Roll fundraiser

The Hollidaysburg Area Women’s Club’s St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock and Roll event will be held from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at the Blair County Convention Center (doors open at 5:30 p.m.). The evening will include dinner, dancing, auctions, raffles and music by Whiskey Soul Redemption. As a nonprofit organization, the GFWC HAWC depends on the generosity of community members for funding. All proceeds from the event will fund the club’s Blair County community outreach projects, specifically the major renovation of Kids Kingdom Play Park at Dell Delight Legion Park. Tickets are $50 per person and are available by contacting any GFWC HAWC club member or at Mayfield at The Capital Hotel, Blair Regional YMCA, Hollidaysburg Area Public Library, the DeGol Organization in Altoona or Boro Coffee.
