Teams of five are encouraged to register

The annual Children’s Miracle Network Bowl-A-Thon sponsored by REMAX Results returns in March and, for the first time, is heading to Holiday Bowl in Altoona.

This year, organizers are continuing a community tradition that has lasted for more than 20 years. The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 8.

The bowl-a-thon, which brings together local bowlers in support of children’s healthcare, has raised more than $129,000 over the past two decades.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital in Danville and Geisinger’s pediatric locations, helping provide critical, lifesaving equipment and services for pediatric patients and their families.

Open to bowlers of all skill levels, the event emphasizes community involvement and charitable giving. Participants bowl to raise funds while enjoying a fun and meaningful day on the lanes.

Those interested in taking part can register by completing a registration form with a team of five players and sending it in.
