Charles W. Longer and Frankstown Elementary schools in Hollidaysburg are planning their Holiday Market event for Nov. 22.
The shopping event takes place at both school locations from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. With more than 50 local vendors combined in both locations, bake sales and basket raffles, there is something for everyone.
CWL has been hosting the event for more than five years, while Frankstown is joining forces for the second time this year.
From holiday decor and boutique clothing to homemade foods, jewelry, pottery and children's books, the Holiday Market is a one-stop shop.
Each location will also feature a "Mini Makers Studio." The Mini Makers are students from CWL and Frankstown that are beginner local vendors.
They have designed and created their own goods to sell to shoppers throughout the day.
People that shop both locations on Nov. 22 will be entered to win a $50 Sheetz gift card.
All proceeds from bake sales, basket raffles and vendor fees benefit the CWL and Frankstown PTO groups.
These PTOs fundraise throughout the year to pay for their elementary school events, field trips and so much more.
