“Monty Python’s Edukational Show: School Edition” is a collection of hilarious sketches from the classic British television program. The AAHS version includes more than 40 high school actors taking to the stage. With just as many on the backstage crews, the show will involve the creative talents of more than 100 AAHS students on and off the stage.
Many grew up watching the absurd hilarity of Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin (collectively known as “Monty Python”) in their classic sketch comedy series, “Monty Python’s Flying Circus.”
“Monty Python’s Edukational Show” is the only authorized collection of these Monty Python sketches and songs available for stage performance. The 80-minute musical revue features beloved sketches such as “Cheese Shop,” “Argument Clinic,” “Lumberjack Song,” “Dead Parrot,” “Galaxy Song” and many more Python gems with a decidedly irreverent “edukational” theme.
