Victoria Vespico, Miss Northeastern PA, was crowned Miss Pennsylvania 2025 Saturday in York.
Vespico, 25, of Shavertown is a member of the communications team of America250PA, the Pennsylvania Commission for the celebration of the Semiquincentennial of the United States of America. She also won a Preliminary Health and Fitness Award.
On Friday night, Miss Philadelphia’s Teen Lynzi Allen was crowned Miss Pennsylvania’s Teen. Roaring Spring teen Jaylyn Resh, Miss York County’s Teen, was named first runner-up.
Allen, 17, is the daughter of Jamie and Amanda Allen of Perkasie, Pa. She performed a Broadway dance from “Miss Celie’s Pants” as her talent, and she advocated for her community service initiative “Just Be You,” a tribute to self-love, diversity and inclusion. Allen received an $8,000 scholarship for winning Miss Pennsylvania’s Teen, and she won two preliminary awards on Friday night — Health and Fitness and Eveningwear.
Resh is the daughter of Susan and Steven Resh of Roaring Spring and a recent graduate of Northern Bedford County High School. She plans to attend Virginia Tech and be their featured twirler. She received a $2,500 scholarship.

Vespico’s talent presentation was a tap dance performance “with a twist” to Leroy Anderson’s classic “Fiddle Faddle.” Her community service initiative “Sustainability Starts with You” encourages sustainability principles and practices, fostering environmental consciousness and action. Vespico received a $12,000 scholarship for winning Miss Pennsylvania, and a $1,000 scholarship for her Health & Fitness preliminary award. She will compete at the Miss America Competition in September 2025 in Orlando.
According to pageant officials, all local competitions are open and allow candidates from anywhere in the Commonwealth to compete. Blair County has not had a pageant in years.
