Horse trail ride, walk raises $36,825 for Dreams Go On

HOLLIDAYSBURG — On Sept. 29, 2024, Lehman Engineers held its 18th annual Horse Trail Ride and Trail Walk to benefit Dreams Go On.

Dreams Go On is a nonprofit therapeutic horseback riding organization. In 2024, the trail ride and trail walk raised $36,825.31. To date, Lehman’s has raised a total of $417,156.57.

Each year, this event takes place at Canoe Creek State Park. It brings horseback riders and trail walking enthusiasts together for a great cause. Dreams Go On provides therapeutic horseback riding sessions to children and young adults in Blair County.

The top team raised $1,986: the Wolfe Pack.

The second place team was the Saint Francis University “Lammies” Phi Lambda Psi sorority, with $1,200.

Holliday Real Estate, LLC was in third place with a $905 donation.

Top individual fundraisers were Pam Wilt, first place, $350; tied for second place at $100 each were Nicole Burchfield and Alyssa Reed.

This year’s 19th annual Lehman Engineers Horse Trail Ride and Trail Walk is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025.

The public is invited to register to participate in the event. All horse trail riders and trail walkers are encouraged to register online at www.DreamsGoOn.com and are also encouraged to collect pledges to donate to Dreams Go On to compete for prizes.

Late registrations will be accepted the day of the event. Registration and check-in on the day of the event is from 9 to 9:45 a.m. for horse trail riders and trail walkers.

The event will occur rain or shine. Riders must provide their own horses.
