Cub Scout Pack 331 will hold an open house at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, at St. Mary's Church Social Hall, 312 Clark St., Hollidaysburg.
Parents can learn about what Cub Scouts has to offer while the boys will learn about balloon history from Kerrie Baughman of Balloon Legends, and get a chance to make their own balloon creation.
The pack is open to boys in kindergarten through fifth grade. Pack leaders and parents keep our Scouts on a path of citizen training, character development and personal fitness. As Scouts earn a new rank each year, they are also doing so alongside the other Scouts, developing friendships that will last a lifetime. Activities will teach lessons of self-worth, the importance of community and helping others.
