Mark A. Frank
UNIVERSITY PARK -- Mark A. Frank received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Microbiology and Molecular Biology (BMMB) from Penn State University during commencement ceremonies Aug. 10 at the Bryce Jordan Center.
Dr. Frank is the son of Walt Frank and Nancy Bolinda of Tyrone and Ray and Patt Keith of Patton.
The title of his dissertation was "Cellulose Biosynthesis from a Product and Machinery Perspective."
Dr. Frank is a 2013 graduate of Altoona Area High School and a 2017 graduate of Saint Francis University, Loretto, with a double major in biology and chemistry in the honors program.
He is seeking a postdoctoral position in his field of study.
