The inaugural Blair County Mrs. Roper Romp raised $800 for the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society. In the photo at left, Melissa Tonkin (left, holding a photo of Mr. Roper from the TV show "Three's Company") and Natalie Barlick-Reed (center, holding Bailey, who is available for adoption) presented the check to Becky Felton of the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society. Anyone with the love of Mrs. Roper or "Three's Company" are welcome to join the group on Aug. 17 at Peoples Natural Gas Field for an Altoona Curve baseball game, meeting at 5 p.m. at the main gate for the 6 p.m. game. Plus, come enjoy the fireworks.
