Begin With Books (formerly First Book) presented a $4,900 grant from Ronald McDonald House Charities to Huntingdon County Children and Youth Services. Shown are (from left): Carolyn Wallen (BWB), Nathan Woods (CYS), Laura Hardy (CYS), Darin Tornatore (RMHC) and Sharon Huff (BWB).The grant is to purchase books for children served by CYS. RMHC has been a faithful supporter of BWB to fulfill its mission to provide new, age-appropriate books to children in Huntingdon County. Since its beginning 20 years ago, Begin With Books has helped to distribute more than 69,000 books to children in low-income households.
