On March 13, Morrisons Cove Rotary Club sponsored the "Four-Way Speech" contest at Northern Bedford County High School, Loysburg. Five participants -- all students from Northern Bedford -- competed. Morrisons Cove Rotary encompasses and serves the Northern Bedford, Spring Cove and Williamsburg Community School Districts. Any high school student is invited to participate in the yearly event. The first-place participant receives a $500 scholarship. There are also scholarships for second place ($300) and third place ($200).
