WISE Women presents two scholarships for fall term

WISE Women of Blair County announced the scholarship recipients for the Fall 2023 term.
These scholarships are available to Blair County women ages 21 and older who have overcome adversity or discrimination in their lives and are pursuing post-secondary education.
A total of $6,000 was awarded to the following two women: Pamela Lantz, a student in the bachelor's degree program in human development and family studies at Penn State Altoona, and Stevie Hoover, a student in the bachelor's degree program in elementary education at Penn State Altoona.
The scholarships are awarded through the Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation.
